Buddhists and worshippers of ancestral spirits are hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ in spite of pandemic lockdowns and political violence. Local missionaries are able to talk with people on the one day of the week when villagers are allowed to go grocery shopping, and a worker recently led animists in a remote area to faith in Christ. Others are regularly proclaiming Christ on Facebook and in distributions of food and Bibles. Local missionaries providing the gospel as well as food, medicines and other aid amid economic paralysis need donations of $25 or $50 to carry out these outreaches. Pray for economic and political stability and protection for workers.
“Indeed, true companion, I ask you also to help these women who have shared my struggle in the cause of the gospel, together with Clement also and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.” (Php. 4:3)
